Position Overview

The security organization is hiring a Technical Program Manager to oversee cybersecurity initiatives across multiple domains including cloud security, product security, enterprise security, and threat detection. This role is part of a broader security function that collaborates with engineering, product, privacy, compliance, IT, and legal teams to strengthen organizational and customer protection.

Core Responsibilities

In this position, you'd manage the execution of security programs and projects while improving the company's overall security posture. Your day-to-day work would involve several key areas:

  • Leading vulnerability remediation efforts across different security testing tools and frameworks (such as cloud security posture management, static and dynamic application testing, and software composition analysis)

  • Translating complex security and regulatory requirements into clear programs, technical specifications, and measurable goals

  • Coordinating cross-functional work between engineering, product, privacy, and legal teams, while removing obstacles that slow progress

  • Prioritizing security work based on findings, stakeholder needs, and strategic goals

  • Tracking program performance through metrics and reporting to leadership

  • Managing security service requests by collecting demand, evaluating urgency, and assigning work

  • Coordinating with governance and compliance teams to document that security controls are working effectively for audits

  • Supporting customer discussions about your company's security approach and capabilities

  • Planning team capacity and roadmaps in partnership with security leaders

What You'd Bring
  • Experience: At least 5 years working as a Technical Program Manager in a cybersecurity role within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

  • Technical knowledge: Strong grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals including network security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), application security, and identity management

  • Program management skills: Proven success managing large-scale security programs (like vulnerability management, exception handling, and bug bounties), service management processes, and cross-functional dependencies.

  • Tools and frameworks: Familiarity with security tools, system integrations, and security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

  • Leadership experience: Ability to lead complex projects end-to-end such as managing external penetration tests from vendor selection through remediation and strong communication and organizational abilities.

  • Analytical mindset: Experience using data and metrics to track performance and influence decision-making
