Product Manager - Austin, TX

Full-Time | Remote | Date Posted: June 10th, 2026

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and deliver high-impact initiatives within our Inventory platform. This role sits within a multi-product ecosystem and requires strong execution discipline, operational thinking, and clear backlog ownership.

This is an individual contributor role for a Product Manager who thrives in complex, operational SaaS environments and wants to deliver measurable impact within a mature platform organization.

Overview

As a Product Manager at Bitstry, you will:

  • Own a defined product surface area within the global Inventory platform

  • Translate operational customer pain points into scalable product solutions

  • Prioritize and manage a clear backlog aligned to business KPIs

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Customer teams to deliver features on a predictable cadence

  • Support enhancements across both legacy and growth initiatives while maintaining roadmap discipline

Success in this role requires navigating integration-heavy systems, balancing competing priorities, and maintaining execution stability while delivering measurable value.

Product Execution & Delivery
  • Translate product strategy into actionable roadmaps within your defined scope

  • Own backlog prioritization, balancing customer feedback, data insights, and commercial impact

  • Deliver features tied to operational KPIs such as labor efficiency, compliance adherence, inventory accuracy, or margin optimization

  • Ensure clear acceptance criteria, documentation, and release readiness

  • Partner with Engineering in sprint planning, refinement, and delivery ceremonies

This role includes true backlog ownership within agreed strategic guardrails and clear escalation pathways for trade-offs or scope shifts.

Customer & Market Insight
  • Engage directly with customers to understand workflow friction and operational constraints

  • Identify opportunities for automation, forecasting improvements, and workflow simplification

  • Translate real-world operational complexity into intuitive product experiences

  • Contribute to competitive and market awareness within hospitality and workforce technology

AI & Operational Intelligence

Within Bitstry's platforms, AI-enabled capabilities may include:

  • Forecasting models that inform inventory planning

  • Automation of manual back-office workflows

  • Predictive alerts embedded directly within user workflows

  • Post-launch iteration informed by measurable usage and performance data

We are looking for PMs who understand how AI and automation should enhance operational workflows, not exist as standalone features. AI exposure is valuable but not required if operational depth is strong.

Metrics & Impact
  • Define success metrics at feature inception

  • Track adoption, usage patterns, and KPI impact post-launch

  • Drive iteration based on measurable performance

  • Maintain transparency with stakeholders on roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes

About You

We are targeting mid-level to early-senior Product Managers (4–7 years experience) who have experience in:

  • SaaS or enterprise software

  • Operational platforms (hospitality tech, retail systems, inventory, supply chain, or forecasting tools)

  • Integration-heavy environments

  • Agile product development with clear sprint discipline

You bring:

  • Demonstrated backlog ownership within a defined product surface area

  • Experience shipping features tied to measurable operational or business KPIs

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Data teams

  • Comfort navigating legacy constraints while driving incremental modernization

  • A default towards execution clarity over ambiguous scope

Growth & Ownership

This is an individual contributor role with a clear path to Senior Product Manager through expanded scope and measurable impact. Advancement is based on execution excellence and product outcomes, not people management requirements.

Background & Experience
  • 4+ years in Product Management within SaaS or enterprise software

  • Experience in hospitality, workforce management, retail, or operational systems is strongly preferred

  • Experience with forecasting, automation, or AI-enabled tools is a plus

  • Strong analytical thinking and user-first problem solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working in Agile environments
